Easy creamy dairy-free mushroom sauce. Perfect as a side dish for Thanksgiving or any Holiday table.

salt & pepper

coconut milk

garlic cloves

nutritional yeast

fresh thyme leaves

vegan butter

broth

olive oil

white wine

Gently sauté mushrooms as they turn golden brown where they contact the pan.

A little extra oil while cooking will help encourage caramelization and crispy edges.

Season with salt only AFTER mushrooms are fully cooked to your liking.

Deglaze with broth and coconut cream while loosening any bits.

Nutritional yeast makes the sauce thick and creamy.

Remove from heat and stir in fresh thyme. Or boost the flavor with sage, rosemary, hot sauce, or soy sauce.
